Join Nikki Bergen of The Belle Method and Simone Muller from re-centre for a transformative retreat of movement, nourishment, and restoration at Quinta Do Amor, a serene eco-luxury retreat nestled in the foothills of Arrábida Natural Park just 45 minutes from Lisbon, Portugal.
Surrounded by mountains, Mediterranean forests, and wild beauty, this six-day, five-night women’s retreat is designed to reconnect you with your body and deepen your understanding of Pilates, pelvic health, and whole-body wellness.
Begin each day with mindful movement led by Simone and Nikki. Enjoy chef-prepared farm-to-table meals, restorative workshops, hiking through the breathtaking Portuguese countryside, swimming at the beach and afternoons lounging by the salt-water pool. Evenings invite deep conversation, fireside laughter under the stars, and the kind of connection that reminds you what it means to feel fully alive.
Rates range from €2,795 – €3,495 depending on room type.

Sample Day Itinerary
8 am: Morning movement (with Nikki or Simone)
9 am: Tea, coffee, light breakfast
10 am: Challenge your body (mountain hike, Pilates, etc)
12:30 pm: Lunch at the Quinta
1 pm - 5 pm: Free time (beach excursion, pool time, optional massage)
5:30 pm: Sunset Pilates or Hypopressives class (with Nikki or Simone)
7:30 pm Dinner
9 pm: Rest and recharge

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
If cancelled prior to August 1, 2026 you receive a refund less any processing fees. If cancelled after August 1 there is no refund. Payment is transferable if you find someone to take your place, or if someone on the waitlist fills your spot.

What are hypopressives?
Hypopressives is a specialized breathing and exercise technique designed to engage and strengthen the pelvic floor and deep core muscles. By performing controlled breathing patterns and specific postures, Hypopressives help lift the pelvic organs, stimulate a contraction of the pelvic floor, and activate deep abdominal muscles.
This practice is particularly beneficial for addressing pelvic floor issues such as prolapse and incontinence, as well as aiding in the recovery from Diastasis Recti. It works by drawing in the waistline, toning the abdomen, and supporting overall core function. Hypopressives are especially valuable during the postpartum period and throughout the journey to menopause, offering targeted support for long-term pelvic health.
I am new to Pilates and hypopressives, does that matter?
The retreat classes are open to all levels! We are happy to modify to your ability level and adjust for any injuries. Please don't deny yourself the pleasure of an incredible trip because you are new to working out! We are laid back, totally inclusive and know you'll feel amazing after the experience! This retreat is perfect for all levels. Beginners and seasoned Pilates aficionados alike will receive the detailed instruction that catalyzes personal transformations. Simone is also offering a private hypopressive session online before our retreat for each participant :-)
I am pregnant/postpartum. Can I do the classes?
Yes we are happy to offer modifications! The Pilates classes will be absolutely ok, but we will need to modify the hypopressive practice for you (which we can do!).
I have food allergies. Can you accommodate?
That's our specialty! We get it, and will do everything we can to ensure you enjoy healthy delicious food according to your dietary needs.
What's the typical age of Retreaters?
The bulk of our guests range between 35 - 65, however all are welcome. Guests must be 18 years of age or older. Many people come by themselves and leave with amazing new friendships!
Do I have to participate in all the classes/activities?
Heck no! If you prefer to cozy up with a book or lounge by the pool, the choice is yours! Anything goes.

NIKKI BERGEN
A master trainer & creative educator, Nikki Bergen is one of Canada’s most sought after fitness experts. Nikki’s passion for pelvic health and advocacy, coupled with 20+ years as a Pilates trainer has driven her to create The Belle Method - pelvic health informed Pilates programs for pregnancy, postpartum & beyond.
She lives in Toronto with her husband and two young children. When she's not teaching birth prep & postpartum courses to women around the world, you can find her hosting local and international Pilates & wellness retreats with her company Elevate Retreats, running teacher trainings, or writing her first book on the pregnant pelvic floor. www.thebellemethod.com

SIMONE MULLER
Simone lives in Portugal with her husband, 2 children and their Tibetan terrier Maxie.
Originally from South Africa, she trained at The Royal Ballet School in London and danced professionally for 15 years.
In 2020, Simone launched re-centre, an online platform dedicated to the Hypopressives technique. Her goal is to make this practice more accessible, empowering women with the tools to strengthen and reconnect with their bodies.
Over the past ten years, Simone has focused on supporting women, witnessing remarkable transformations in her clients - from prolapse and incontinence reversal to dramatic improvement in diastasis decti. She’s also completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification, which has influenced her approach in providing transformative classes.
